Michael Alan Sears is the Managing Director of Sealeys Walker Jarvis. He has worked in the property industry for over 30 years, commencing his career with an agency in London Docklands in the early 1990s. Michael is a fully qualified member of the NAEA (National Association of Estate Agents) and ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents) and in 2022 was elected to the Board of Propertymark, the property industry’s leading membership body with over 17,500 members nationwide. As a member of the Board and a member of the NAEA Commercial Advisory Panel, Michael, together with his fellow board members, works to uphold recognised industry standards, provide the sector with modern qualifications and is part of the voice of Propertymark driving positive change in the industry for the future.   

Michael was born and raised in Gravesham and is a keen supporter of Ebbsfleet United Football Club, where he served as a Director for eight years and Vice-Chairman for four years. Michael’s spare time pursuits include worldwide travel (it helps his sister lives in New Zealand) – he even met his wife Laura whilst on a trip to Peru, the Amazon and the Galapagos Islands! Michael is a keen supporter of local charities including being a Trustee of the local charity ‘Walk Tall’.

Michael and Laura have a love for the great outdoors and share their rural small-holding home with their dogs and chickens.

Lesley is our Chief Executive Officer – she joined the company in 2006 and has risen through the ranks to her current position. Her role includes overseeing all departments and assisting our Managing Director with the day to day running of the company. Before joining Sealeys Walker Jarvis Lesley was a retail manager at a London branch of the fashion chain Dorothy Perkins.

Lesley lives in Gravesham and enjoys spending time with her family, watching box sets and taking long walks with her Bulldogs Stan and Eddie.  Lesley is an Arsenal FC fan despite the fact that her family follow Crystal Palace and Chelsea!

Catherine started working for Sealeys Walker Jarvis in November 2005.  She rose through the administrative ranks, starting as the Sales Administrator, and is now PA to MD and CEO.  Catherine assists Michael and Lesley with the day to day running of the business, assists the Sales Department with their administrative needs and runs our social media marketing.  In addition, Catherine oversees the company’s charity, community and healthy workplace programmes.  Before joining Sealeys Walker Jarvis Catherine worked in educational administration including roles at Imperial College, London.

Catherine lives in Gravesend but grew up in the village of Hartley near Longfield. She is passionate about the creative arts and in 2022 completed a part-time, six-year, Art History degree with the Open University.  Now her studies are completed she is back enjoying her hobbies again of visiting art exhibitions in London, textile art, baking and being a member of an international book club. 

She is the proud owner of a Chocolate Labrador, a Basset Hound and a Scottishfold Cat (who is famous in the office for her comic timing).  Catherine can go from normal to dog bore in 60 seconds … don’t say we didn’t warn you!

Margaret is our Finance Manager and has worked in the property industry since 2004. Margaret’s responsibilities include processing rent payments , preparation of tenancy agreements, arranging rent guarantee insurance and safety certificates for Landlords. Before working in the property industry Margaret was the Office Administrator at Ebbsfleet United Football Club.

Margaret is local and very familiar with the area as she has lived in Gravesend since 1986. Margaret enjoys spending time with her family – she has three daughters and is a very proud mother and grandmother. Margaret has a passion for travel especially to destinations in North America (this has earnt her the office nickname of Judith Chalmers!).

Following an introduction to the property industry through Black Horse in the financial services sector, Debbie joined Sealeys in 2016. She was initially working in Sales as a Sales Co-ordinator. However, she soon transitioned to Sales Manager, became industry qualified (MNAEA) and is responsible not just for bringing property to market, seeing it through to completion, but also for organising the team and ensuring service standards are maintained.

Debbie is a keen cook and baker and enjoys leisure time spent in the kitchen and gardening (fruit and veg – naturally). She loves travelling and spending time – usually over food – with her grown up family and friends.

Having previously worked in legal practice Natasha Thynne decided to put her administrative experience to use within a different industry and joined Sealeys Walker Jarvis as our Commercial Assistant in May 2017.  Having proved herself to be a highly valuable member of the team Natasha was promoted to Commercial Manager in 2022.  Natasha’s duties include overseeing the Commercial Team and progressing offers on commercial properties all the way to completion. 

Outside of Sealeys Walker Jarvis, Natasha is mother to a son, and is very family orientated, enjoying spending time with all her family and keeping active.

Adam joined Sealeys Walker Jarvis in March 2018 as our Lettings Negotiator and in July 2019 took on the role of Property Lister in the Residential Sales Department.  Since 2022 he was promoted to cover both the Residential and Commercial as a Property Lister.

Adam has a Foundation Degree in Acting and has performed in various shows around the country including supporting Walk Tall, one of the charities Sealeys Walker Jarvis sponsors, with their drama related activities to improve the lives of vulnerable children and adults within the community.  Adam has a passion for music, performance, football and travelling and has always dreamt of moving abroad.

Holly joined Sealeys Walker Jarvis in early January 2020 as our Senior Lettings Advisor when Sealeys purchased the company of her previous employer, New Ash Green Letting Company.  She began her career within the lettings industry in 2015 and this level of industry experience, knowledge and her professionalism saw Holly rise through the department to become Lettings Manager.  Her hard work and dedication to this role and to the company led to her further promotion in December 2023 to Operations Manager.

In her spare time, Holly enjoys going for walks, reading a good book and socialising with her family and friends.

Liz has worked as an Estate Agent for over 35 years since beginning her career in 1985.  She is a Propertymark professional who offers vendors and purchasers an efficient and knowledgeable service.  She is a strong believer that every client needs to be treated as an individual rather than just another number or sales statistic.  Her focus is on helping people, sell or buy their treasured homes and helping them on their next property journey.  

She has always lived in the Gravesham area, growing up in Istead Rise and Meopham and now living in Gravesend.  This means she has an excellent knowledge of the area in which she works, which is extremely important and beneficial in this industry.  

Outside of work, Liz has a passion for horses and competes with her own horse at Dressage, Showing and occasionally a bit of Show Jumping and Cross County.  She also enjoys various fitness and sports activities, gardening and of course has a general interest in property.

Monica started her estate agency career 20 years ago with Walker Croft & Jarvis at their Meopham branch, joining Walker Jarvis Estate Agents & Chartered Surveyors in 2004.  During her career she gained experience of working within all aspects of property sales.  She happily settled into her current lettings’ role over three years ago and has gained an additional wealth of knowledge of all aspects of property repairs, maintenance and compliance which she puts to very good use as she leads our team of Property Managers.

In her spare time, she likes to go to the gym, socialising, shopping, taking hot holidays and city breaks and history.

Linda has worked in the property industry for over 25 years as a Sales Administrator and has recently joined Sealeys Walker Jarvis as our Residential Sales Assistant to help support our Sales Team.

Outside of work she loves music and attending festivals, concerts and the theatre.  With a family of musicians she is never short of a gig to go to and is a real 80s girl.  Her passion is holidays and she lives for the sunshine and cocktails!

With an interest in property, and a wish to start a new career path, Laurie joined us as one of Property Managers in May 2023. Prior to joining our team, she worked for 13 years in the healthcare sector. In July 2024 Laurie made the move over to our Commercial Team, becoming our new Commercial Negotiator.

In her spare time Laurie enjoys being active and going to the gym as well as going on days out, weekends away and adventures with her partner, daughter and step-son. Laurie is also the proud owner of two pet ferrets called Reggie and Ronnie who are very mischievous!

Olivia joined our Lettings Department in October 2020. Through her commitment and diligence towards our clients, she advanced within the department and was appointed Lettings Manager in November 2024. Her responsibilities include rental market appraisals, marketing properties, accompanying viewings, and managing lettings administration.

In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, walking her dog, and spending time with her family and friends.

Diana joined our Property Management Team here at Sealeys Walker Jarvis in June 2021.  Her varied role as a Property Manager means she oversees the management of a portfolio of nearly carrying out property inspections, and responding to maintenance issue reports from tenants.  

Diana has lived in Gravesend since 2004.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and learning about new cultures, as well as trying international cuisines, and has an interest in Interior Design. During lockdown in 2020 her interest in Interior Design led to a new hobby of renovating antique and vintage furniture.

Emily has joined our Sales team as a Negotiator having previously worked in managerial roles in the hospitality and retail industries. 

Outside of the office, Emily enjoys socialising with friends and family. She has a passion for music and regularly attends concerts, festivals, and the theatre. She is an avid traveller and loves seeing new corners of the globe. During her downtime she can be found reading a book or catching up on some TV.
