COVID-19 Statement: Following careful planning and implementation of government guidelines we are pleased to announce that our office in Parrock Street is now OPEN. Visitors are welcome, but only two people at any one time from the same household can be permitted. Visitors must wear face masks (unless medically exempt) and are asked to sanitise their hands upon arrival using the facilities provided. To prevent cross-contamination our employees have been split into two teams so that each team can alternate between working from home or the office but remain separate from each other should a member of staff develop symptoms. In addition, with the stringent measures we have introduced keeping the safety of our staff and clients at the forefront of what we do can now offer Covid-conscious property viewings both virtually and physically. We look forward to hearing from you and helping you with all your property needs at this difficult time. Stay safe and well everyone!

About Sealeys

May 1993

A lettings agency partnership between Michael Alan Sears and David John Comley was begun, taking the name of Sealeys from both partners’ surnames.

David Comley left the partnership and soon thereafter Sealeys became a limited company

From being office based, Sealeys opened its first branch shop at 197 Parrock Street, Gravesend – then Gravesend’s only residential lettings only company.

Sealeys graduated into becoming an Estate Agency, soon thereafter joining The Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) and The National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA)

Sealeys becomes the first estate agent to run buy-to-let seminars held at Ebbsfleet United’s football stadium at Stonebridge Road in the beginning of the first wave of buy-to-let investors.

Sealeys opened its second branch in Pelham Road South, Northfleet.

Sealeys Gravesend Branch moved from Parrock Street to Clive Road, opposite Gravesend’s railway station and part of the Thamesgate Shopping Centre.

Sealeys enter the Gravesend Reporter (Archant) Newspapers Property Awards and win two top awards – Estate Agent of the Year and Letting Agent of the Year.

Sealeys become the only agent in Gravesend to produce in-house Home Information Packs (HIPS) and both residential and commercial Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)

Sealeys win The Daily Mail’s Kent Estate Agency of the Year Award (two entries in two years and winners both times).  Sealeys had not before or since entered any property awards.

Sealeys begin our Commercial Sales and Lettings Department dealing with retail, offices, industrial units, yards and land across Gravesham, Dartford, Bexley and Medway.

Sealeys gain commercial agency from Gravesham Borough Council and the St Georges Shopping Centre in Gravesend (something no local agent has achieved before or since).

Following a thirteen month building project Sealeys move into our new £1 million Gravesend branch and purpose built fifteen office business centre at 184-185 Parrock Street, Gravesend.

Sealeys broaden their commercial agency operations to include covering the discipline of Business Transfer Agency

Sealeys are named finalists in the Gravesham Business Awards.
